[edit] Kingdom Hearts

In Kingdom Hearts, Mickey is the King of Disney Castle. He notices that the stars in the sky are going out, one by one. Mickey knows that this means that the other worlds are in danger and that his will be as well. He sets off to learn what he can and figure out a way to stop the threat of darkness. He leaves behind a letter for Donald and Goofy, instructing them to search for the Key Bearer in other worlds. After Sora, Donald, and Goofy defeated Ansem, they finally see King Mickey behind the Door To Darkness, inside Kingdom Hearts. He carried a Kingdom Key of his own, like Sora's, but the blade was colored like Sora's hand guard, and the hand guard was colored like Sora's blade. Using the power of both their Keyblades, Sora and King Mickey sealed the Door To Darkness, and King Mickey was trapped in the dark realm of Kingdom Hearts.

[edit] Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories

In Kingdom Hearts: Chain Of Memories, King Mickey and Riku escape from Kingdom Hearts. Riku ended up at Castle Oblivion, and Mickey eventually caught up with him and guided him the whole time to keep him away from his darkness. After Riku conquered his darkness, he left Castle Oblivion with King Mickey, both in robes in the style Organization XIII.

[edit] Kingdom Hearts II

In Kingdom Hearts II, King mickey has a subtle, yet more revealing role. His first appearance is at the Train Station in Twilight Town. He rescues Sora, Donald, and Goofy and gives them the money they need to board the train to see Yen Sid. Mickey again arrives at Hollow Bastion as Sora is in Ansem's Study, and he reveals the true identity of Xehanort and Ansem the Wise. He vanished again quickly after that, pursuing Xemnas into a corridor of darkness. He joined the group one last time just before they entered The World That Never Was. He fought his way ahead of the group, encountering DiZ, who revealed himself as Ansem the Wise. After Xemnas had supposedly been defeated, King Mickey left with the others through a corridor of darkness, but Sora and Riku were left behind. They quickly rendezvoused with him on the Destiny Islands, after Xemnas had finally been laid to rest. The last scene in Kingdom Hearts reveals a letter by King Mickey, which Kairi found in a bottle. Sora, Riku, and Kairi begin reading it, but its contents are still up to speculation.

[edit] Kingdom Hearts

King of Disney Castle. He set out to learn more about the darkness, and left instructions for Donald and Goofy to find and follow the key bearer. No one knows where King Mickey is now, but they are determined to find him.

He made his debut in "Steamboat Willie" (1928).

[edit] Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories

The king who reigns over Disney Castle.

He set off alone to protect his world and all worlds from the dominion of the dark.

When Riku fell into the realm of darkness, the king showed him the way, but the two were separated when the door to darkness was closed.

[edit] Kingdom Hearts II

[edit] First Entry

Steamboat Willie (1928)

The king of Disney Castle. It's been a while since he set off alone to fight the darkness threatening the worlds.

King Mickey and Riku stayed behind in the realm of darkness to keep the Heartless from escaping again.

Donald, Goofy, and Sora will keep searching until they're reunited with the King.

[edit] Second Entry

Steamboat Willie (1928)

The king of Disney Castle. He was the first to realize what a threat the darkness was, and the first to act. King Mickey travels across the worlds, battling the Heartless and searching for an answer to the riddle of Organization XIII and the Nobodies.

After many great battles, the King seems even more determined than ever to fight against the darkness.

[edit] Timeless River: Entry 1

Steamboat Willie (1928)

It's King Mickey all right, but in this world, he doesn't have a lot to say, and he doesn't look exactly like the king we all know.

His Majesty's acting like he's somebody completely different. I wonder what's going on.

[edit] Timeless River: Entry 2

Steamboat Willie (1928)

It's King Mickey, but back when he was working on Pete's steamboat.

One thing sure hasn't changed—His Majesty was just as brave back then as he is now.

[edit] Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep

Steamboat Willie (1928)

King of Disney Castle. He put aside his training under Yen Sid and ran off when he heard the worlds were in trouble.

So far his travels from world to world have been mostly accidental, since he cannot control the Star Shard he "borrowed."

[edit] Kingdom Hearts Re: Coded

The king of Disney Castle. Just like Sora, he wields a Keyblade. In the past, he traveled from world to world to watch over Sora, Donald, and the others, and guide them in their journey to save all worlds from the forces of darkness.

Once the crisis was averted, Mickey returned to Disney Castle to live a peaceful life with his friends there.
