Sora first arrived here in Kingdom Hearts. This was not one of those worlds with expansive terrains. Sora simply fought in a tournament there. Hades took advantage of that opportunity by hiring Cloud to defeat Sora and stop him on his quest. Sora managed to avoid destruction from Cloud and even took on Hades' pet three-headed dog, Cerberus. After this stunning victory, Phil declares Sora, Donald, and Goofy Junior Heroes. To their dismay, they were not named True Heroes yet. The world can later be revisited to participate in various tournament cups that allow you to engage in all-star battle with Hades, the Rock and Ice Titans from the film Hercules, and the infamous Sephiroth.

Sora and the gang land a little off course in Kingdom Hearts II. This is fortunate, however, because they find a woman named Megara, who is attacked by the Heartless. They fend them off and meet up with Hercules at the Coliseum. He is very happy to see them and acts as though he is in good spirit. In truth, he is exhausted from having to fight every monster that Hades throws at him. Meg (Megara) is concerned about Hercules' well-being, so she asks Sora to go into the Underworld and find Hades so that he can courteously ask Hades to give Hercules a break. Hades summons Auron from the dead to kill Hercules, but he refuses, saying, This is my story, and you're not part of it." Sora arrives at this moment and tries to plead with Hades, but he is already infuriated and does not listen. Auron tries to leave with Sora from the Underworld. Just before they can escape, Cerberus arrives at the entrance chamber. Working together, Sora and Auron defeat the three-headed canine and leave.
