[edit] Background

Originally from Final Fantasy VII made by Squaresoft, Tifa Lockhart was the female protagonist accompanying the main character Cloud. Tifa is voiced by Rachael Leigh Cook in both Final Fantasy VII and Kingdom Hearts. In Final Fantasy VII, Tifa was a martial arts specialist and one of Clouds childhood friends.

Tifa has made appearances in Kingdom Hearts 2, Final Fantasy VII, Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII, OVA Last Order: Final Fantasy VII and Ehrgeiz. She has also made an appearance in the Final Fantasy VII animated film Advent Children.

[edit] Hollow Bastion

In Kingdom Hearts 2, Tifa is seen wandering around Hollow Bastion, looking for Cloud. Sora, Donald and Goofy do not know where Cloud is and can only wish her luck on her search. Tifa is seen at multiple points during Sora's adventure around Hollow Bastion, seeming rather oblivious to anything going on around her, fully focused on her search for Cloud.

Tifa eventually finds Cloud in a cutscene once Sora has defeated Sephiroth in battle. Cloud confronts Sephiroth, unable to defeat him due to the darkness in his heart empowering Sephiroth, Tifa gives some words of wisdom to cloud and offers him her 'light', this extra boost helps Cloud to fight Sephiroth as they are seen disappearing into the sky, enthralled in battle. Tifa then gives Sora the keychain 'Fenrir' before continuing her search for Cloud, leaving Sora rather perplexed as her last words to him were 'Thanks for helping me out' when Sora did little to nothing in aid of Tifa's search.
