Xaldin (Former Dilan, an apprentice of Xehanort is the third member of the Organization XIII. He played his role entirely in Beast's Castle. His goal was to instigate anger inside Beat and turn him into Heartless and a corresponding Nobody, both of which to be used for the Organization's pursuits. He attacked Beast and Belle while they were having a private ball. This angered Beast, and he unwittingly vented at Belle, who went to her room, upset. Beast returns to his chamber, and then Xaldin steals the rose and kidnaps Belle. They chase him out of the castle, and Xladin gives Beast the sadistic choice between Belle, or his freedom from his curse. Belle catches Xaldin off guard and manages to break free with the rose in hand. Sora and friends then challenge Xaldin, who wielded six lances and used the power of the wind. They fought bitterly to the death, but at last, Xaldin fell.
